Weekly Summary - Gold, Silver, Fortuna, Hecla, DOW, Transportations

Folks,

Once again, I was reminded about how God dealt with His chosen nation of Israel in the Old Testament in the sermon while in corporate worship today. He chose Abram from out of the people of the world and created of him a great nation. Several times as they were blessed, they began to believe that they, themselves, had earned the blessing and drifted away from their dependence upon the Sovereign God. God chastised then with destruction by foreign nations as a means of bringing them back to Him and putting their trust in Him. Finally, the nation was totally destroyed by the Romans in 70 AD and replaced with the Christian church.

Now the Christian church and Christians attempt to blame the Federal Government, Federal Reserve, the rich, the poor, the Muslims, the aliens, China, Iran, Obama, and a number of other forces they see as the cause of all their problems. We too often forget that everything, everybody, and every circumstance is controlled by King Jesus who has been placed at the right hand of God, the Father, until all nations are brought under His feet. At that time every knee will bow before Him. For His people, that will be a great time of rejoicing; however, for others it will be too late.

In the meantime, we are loved by a God who is causing all things to work together for the eventual good of His people. However, we are to continually live in total obedience to Him and to enjoy Him forever. As in the time of the Israel nation, we must face the fact that is our failure to be obedient to Him in every aspect of life which is at the root of our perceived problems. The things that are going wrong as symptoms of the root cause. Our churches and all Christians face this fact. God has brought these things upon us to wake up. In fact, He provides the answer in II Chronicles 7:14:

If My people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

Christians, we must face that fact that God is calling us to turn back to Him. Unless our churches wake up, preach this message, and we respond with repentance, our nation is will never be healed. Remember the past and the destruction of Israel. It can happen again with our America.

We are being warned and called to return to the one true God, even Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord. In fact, if He is not Lord of our lives, He is not our savior.

This is serious business and calls for our immediate action. Dwell upon this, study the bible and attend corporate worship at a sound church to know the truth. I pray that each of you will rededicate yourself to our King, our God through the power of the Holy Ghost.

From BeforeItsNews.com:
Silver Market Update - December 5th, 2010
Although silver's uptrend which began in August has been steep, and it is still substantially overbought after its "running correction" of recent weeks, there doesn't appear to be any sign of it ending in the near future. On the contrary, silver looks set to continue to rise steeply and the rate of advance may even accelerate. With nice graphs - HERE.

Silver shining strongly HERE.
Here is one of my favorite silver miners:

Another is Hecla Mining:
I have been hoping for a stronger down move for adding to my holdings. It has been some time since the prices were really attractive for me to add shares of the two silver miners.

Euro ministers under pressure to boost rescue fund
Euro zone finance ministers meeting on Monday will face pressure to increase the size of a 750 billion euro ($1,006 billion) safety net for crisis-hit members in order to halt contagion in the single currency bloc. HERE.

Gold may gain on European debt crisis
LONDON: Gold may advance as concern about Europe’s debt crisis and military tensions in the Korean peninsula boost demand for a protection of wealth, a survey found. HERE.

Virtually every time I travel on business, the markets go strongly up or down. Last week was no exception. This is an update for the week and a look at the trend of some stocks, as well as, our precious metals.

Both the Dow and Transportations are showing strength:

US Monday markets are a few hours off, but for the present Gold is 1412.20 off 2.30 and Silver is 29.72 up 0.34. Both are holding strongly in over night markets. Perhaps, we are to see another up day for both.

Best, Doug
