Stewardship - Gold & Silver holding - DOW & SPX down - Mixed market

Folks,

One thing we tend to forget about an inflationary environment is the mind set. We see price inflation hitting day after day the things we need and want. We are tempted to live above our means by going into debt to buy now before the price is seen to get higher. Debt is not a good thing!

The bible tells us, "Owe no man anything except to love one another: for he that loveth hath fulfilled the law " (Romans 13:8)  In very many other places the bible warns against debt. If we are not frugal in our spending and management of the resources which God entrusts to us, He is likely not to trust us with move. On the other hand the parable of the master who was to go on a trip and entrusted to three of his stewards or servants certain talents. Upon return he demanded an accounting. Two servants were faithful stewards and were rewarded with greater responsibilities. The unfaithful servant was cast out and lost all that he had.

We must resist the temptation to go into debt, and we must learn to live beneath our means. Remember, the economic definition of saving is foregone spending. We must set aside funds for the future and to cover emergencies. This is very important to know.

The Lord provides for us in very many ways, as we follow His laws. Praise King Jesus daily for His bountiful provision.
