How long O'Lord will you tolerate America?

Throughout history, God has destroyed nation after nation, but left a remnant of His people to continue to work of spreading the gospel throughout the earth. A specific example was His chosen people of old. The Israelites, Abraham's descendants, were destroyed by the Roman Empire with the sacking of Jerusalem in 70 AD. Later, of course, the Roman Empire fell. Both of these peoples were defeated by moral decay as Israel turned from the one true God and for Rome as they turned to deep decadence within. Of course, the Roman Empire had never truly worshiped the living God, but their decay from within increased until God brought the hordes of invaders into Rome itself with almost no resistance by the army of Rome or the people. Both are instances of God's judgment on those who violated His word. With both nations, He was very patient, but His patience does not last forever. In His timing, He brings His wrath upon disobedient people.

My concern is how after receiving the providential blessings of God in our founding and winning of independence. After the continuing providential blessings of God for almost one hundred years up to two hundred plus years, we, as a nation are violating His law in so many terrible ways, He appears to be withdrawing His blessing. How long will He continue to tolerate our disobedience. We have become a pagan nation full of "professing" Christians and numerous churches with the label of Christian. He will not withhold His wrath forever. His wrath is a means of bringing individuals, families, churches, and nations to their knees in repentance.

Perhaps, even now, if His people would humble themselves, repent, and turn from the evil ways back to the Living Sovereign God, He would heal our nation. Let us pray that we do this now.

Now, let's take a look are the Gold Miners. They have sprinted upward last week. The index is reaching for the highs of late March and early April. There is a good probability that these highs will be bettered on this upward move. From a technical perspective, the price movement has traced a reverse head and shoulders which is a positive formation. We should see higher prices this week. the last trades ours were, as follows: DROOY 9.02 up 0.52; HL 3.21 up 0.16; HMY 10.12 up 0.14; SLW 8.91 up 0.18; VGZ 2.14 up 0.08, and our favorite silver SSRI 20.06 up 0.13.

The 24 hour Gold price shows no action by the boyz (bullion banks) at the over night Hong Kong opening. Maybe they will lay off for a time. Don't bank on it, but there is always that possibility.

Here is the price of gold showing a strong upward move during last week after languishing for a while. It crossed above the 50 day moving average after being well above the 200 average since early April. That is a nice new technical positive.
Silver has not been hammered down in Asian trading over night either. Silver is now at 13.97 and gold is 914.90. Both are now on down ticks, but the prices are higher than a week ago.
The new strong moves in precious metals are very likely due to a further break down in the dollar. You should read the new commentary by James Turk of GoldMoney.com. I is available HERE. This is very informative and has two very neat charts comparing the move of gold and the dollar.
